Young people have specific issues, concerns and interests and they need services and activities that meet their needs. Through the “Nexus” Youth Resource Centre, managed by the Grampians Community Health Centre's "Tribal Youth" division, Council provides and promotes education, employment, housing, health, safety and recreation opportunities for all young people in the Horsham Rural City and throughout the Wimmera Region. "Nexus" works with young people, with all levels of government, with the education sector, community agencies and the private sector to encourage a range of services and opportunities for local young people to realise their potential and to be active, productive and safe in the community.
