Horsham is the major provider of retail, community and government services in the Wimmera, with dryland and broadacre agriculture being our major industry.

The Grains Innovation Park, a nationally acclaimed agricultural research centre, is based in Horsham.
There are a range of quality educational and health care facilities including secondary colleges, a university and an agricultural college. We also have a diverse array of natural assets including recreational lakes, wetlands, the Wimmera River, Mount Arapiles, the Wartook Valley, and the nearby Grampians National Park.
An abundance of natural assets including lakes, rivers, National & State parks are within a 50-kilometre radius of Horsham. Major assets such as the internationally renowned climbing destination; Mount Arapiles, Tooan State Park as well as Mount Stapylton and Mount Zero in the Grampians National Park attract a significant level of annual visitation. Lakes in the region provide opportunities for locals and visitors to undertake water-based activities such as swimming, fishing, recreational boating and waterskiing.

Grampians Tourisms purpose is to deliver a coordinated approach to marketing, product development, infrastructure investment and industry development for the Grampians Region.

Regional Development Australia - Grampians
RDA Grampians is an independent advisory body with voluntary community, business and local government members. Its goal is to support economic development in the Grampians region working across all three levels of government. It is charged by the Australian and Victorian governments to provide strategic advice on regional planning, economic and social issues and job creation.
