Registered Premises

Health Premises that need to be registered under the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 are:

  • Beauty Therapy 
  • Tattooing
  • Ear and Body piercing
  • Colonic Irrigation
  • Other premises not exempt by the legislation

Premises conducting the above types of businesses require registration with Council under the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 and an inspection is required prior to registration.

Please contact the Environmental Health Officer if you wish to register a new Registered Health Premises.

Additional Information:

If you are purchasing an existing premises, a transfer inspection will need to be conducted. A written request is required from the purchasing solicitor to arrange this inspection. An inspection report will be sent along with a transfer form to be completed and returned.

 

Transfer of Registration

If you are purchasing an existing premise you will need a Transfer Inspection conducted to ensure that the premise complies with the Regulations.
