Community Inclusion Plan

Horsham and district people with disability contribute so much to our community – they are workers, students, mentors, advocates, partners, sports stars, business leaders and so much more.

We have a vision that our municipality is an inclusive place for people with disability, so they can participate, thrive and reach their full potential.

We’re currently creating a new Community Inclusion Plan that will guide us in how we can meet this vision over the next four years.

We’d love to hear from people with disability, their family, carers, service providers, advocates, the arts, business and sport communities, and anyone with an interest in the rights of people with disability.

Throughout August 2022 we engaged with the community and other stakeholders and this will help HRCC and the project consultant Projectura to develop a draft version of our next Community Inclusion Plan. The draft plan will then be presented to Councillors for endorsement, subject to a final round of public feedback early in 2023.
