Horsham Town Hall Programming

Wimmera people are being encouraged to have their say about programming at Horsham Town Hall and Horsham Regional Art Gallery.

Should there be more comedy? More live music? More stage shows? More visual arts and crafts? An online and hard copy questionnaire aims to uncover a better understanding of what the public wants to see and what its aspirations for the venue are.

The Town Hall has delivered nearly three years of quality performances, exhibitions and special events.

In its first year of operation the venue attracted more than 60,000 patrons and in 2017 attendance climbed to 75,000.

Its growth has ensured its popularity and position as the cultural heart of Horsham and the Wimmera.

While audience growth is positive, research has revealed certain age groups are not growing as fast as others.  For example, both the over 55 and younger family markets are growing at a faster rate than the 12-24 and 25-45 age brackets.

Everyone’s feedback is important, even those who have never been to the Town Hall.

Hard copies of the survey are available from the Horsham Town Hall Box Office (71 Pynsent Street, Horsham) or the Reception desk of Horsham Rural City Council (Roberts Avenue, Horsham).

The survey will take approximately 7-10 minutes. Survey participants who register will have the opportunity to win 2 x 200 Business Horsham Gift Cards.
