Do you have a passion for public art, music, theatre or culture?

Would you like to share your experience, skills and knowledge in this area?

Horsham Rural City Council is currently seeking expressions of interest from members of the public to participate in the new Creative Horsham Project Reference Group (PRG).

The PRG is tasked with providing community input into the development of the City’s next Creative Horsham (Arts and Cultural) Plan 2019-2023.

The Plan is a document that sets a vision and guide for Council’s involvement and investment in cultural activities and arts practice within the Horsham community over the next five years.

The Committee members will provide Council with strategic advice and informed feedback about arts and cultural development in the municipality.

This is your chance to have your say and help us to explore how we can better support creative practitioners in the Wimmera to deliver inspiring creative offerings to our community.

PRG members may have backgrounds in arts administration, performing or visual arts, dance or theatre, film or crafts. Or you may be skilled in marketing, finance, tourism or facility management, with an interest in arts and culture. A diversity of skills and experiences is being sought.

Nominations close Monday 24 June 2019.
