Help needed on dog attack

Horsham Rural City Council (HRCC) is calling for witnesses to a dog attack in Horsham North on Saturday 27 July to come forward.

A King Charles Caviller is receiving veterinary treatment after it was allegedly attacked on Wawunna Road about 10am.

Council’s Community Safety Unit believes two chestnut coloured Staffordshire terriers seen in the area are responsible for the attack and is appealing for further information.

In Horsham, any dog being exercised in public must be on a leash.

Dogs can be exercised off-lead in the following local reserves and parks but must remain under effective control and continual supervision.

  • Lions Park, Plant Ave
  • Natimuk Rd
