Horsham Regional Art Gallery will re-open the lower gallery space on Friday 1 March at 6pm as part of the official opening of In her Words and The Wimmera Plains exhibitions.

Repairs to the flooring necessitated the lower gallery space to be closed in late December 2018.

Horsham Rural City Council Director Community Wellbeing said Council was pleased the maintenance works were complete.

“The next suite of exhibitions will see the Gallery return to its full program of touring and permanent collections exhibited over the two floors,” Mr O’Brien said.

“The current exhibitions On a Tangent and Interference Pattern: Rebecca Najdowski + Vivian Cooper Smith recorded strong attendance and satisfaction during the summer period.

Visitors have until Sunday to enjoy Level One’s On a Tangent and Inteference Pattern, with the new exhibitions In Her Words and The Wimmera Plains on show until 19 May, 2019.
