AFL great Neale Daniher will bring the fight against MND to Horsham this Thursday as the fundraiser continues to push towards its goal of raising $1,500,000 to help find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.

Fight MND’s 2018 Daniher’s Drive will arrive in Horsham from 5.30pm and stay overnight before heading for Nhill at 9am Friday morning.

The convoy, which includes nearly 20 ex-AFL footballers, will attend a meet and greet at May Park before Horsham Town Hall hosts a sold out fundraising dinner.

Donation tins will be available to people who wish to support the cause, with an opportunity to also chat to some of the drivers.

On Friday, the Daniher convoy will have breakfast in Horsham and set off for Nhill where a 10am community event will be held at Davis Park.

Daniher’s Drive is a four-day event and makes its way from Melbourne, through the Wimmera, then across to south eastern South Australia before returning to Melbourne via the south coast and Geelong.

Money raised in past years is already being directed into Australian-based MND research and clinical trials by some of the country’s brightest medical minds.

This year's fundraising is already nudging the $1.2 million target.
