DOOEN LANDFILL NOW TAKING HARD WASTE
While Council is working on re-opening its hard waste cell, Council has decided to accept hard waste at its current putrescible site for a limited time.
Council will accept hard waste or commercial builders waste at it putrescible cell 3A. Clean concrete of three tonnes and over will also be accepted.
The following materials will not be accepted:
- Grain tarps or any other similar material i.e. large size HDPE plastics, large size geotextiles
Operating hours for acceptance of hard waste are Monday and Wednesday 8am to 3.30pm
(Closed Good Friday and Christmas Day)
