NOTICE OF INTENTION TO SELL LAND
Horsham Rural City Council gives notice under Section 189 of the Local Government Act 1989 (the Act) that it intends to sell its land described below to an adjoining land holder by private treaty subject to an agreed sale price.
The land is described as CA A3, Township of Natimuk, Parish of Natimuk and is formerly known as part of the old Natimuk tennis courts site. It is approx 600 sqm and is situated at 2 Elmes Street Natimuk.
Any person has a right to make a submission on the proposed sale, which will be considered in accordance with Section 223 of the Act. Written submissions must be received by close of business on 7 February 2020 and should be addressed to Graeme Harrison, Director Corporate, Horsham Rural City Council, PO Box 511, Horsham VIC 3402 or via email to email@example.com . Submissions received will form part of the public record of the relevant Council and Committee meetings.
Any person who has made a written submission to Council may request in writing that he or she be heard in person in support of the written submission or by a person acting on his or her behalf before a Committee of Council.
It is intended that the nett proceeds from the sale of this land will be returned to the Natimuk community following future community consultation.
