HRCC sets dates for 2026 meetings

Council will hold its monthly meetings on the fourth Monday of each month, with the exception of the January and December meetings.

The January meeting will take place on Tuesday, 27 January, instead of the usual Monday due to the Australia Day holiday while the December meeting will take place on the second Monday of the month to avoid the public holidays over the Christmas closedown period. 

The statutory meeting to elect a mayor is scheduled for Thursday, 12 November.

All meetings will be held at 5.30pm at the Civic Centre in Horsham and will be livestreamed via the council’s website. 

The meeting dates are as follows:

• Tuesday 27 January
• Monday 23 February
• Monday 23 March
• Monday 27 April
• Monday 25 May
• Monday 22 June
• Monday 27 July
• Monday 24 August
• Monday 28 September
• Monday 26 October
• Thursday 12 November (Statutory meeting to elect the Mayor)
• Monday 23 November
• Monday 14 December

Council meetings are open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend. People wishing to raise questions during public question time must complete the public question time form and submit it by 10am on the day of the meeting. 

Council agendas will be accessible on the HRCC website from 5pm on the Thursday prior to each meeting.
