Free Transfer Station Load

Council is offering all ratepayers with a Garbage or Recycling charge listed on the front of their rate notice one free load of eligible waste* in a 6’x 4’ trailer or a car boot.

Eligible households can drop off up to a cubic metre of waste* at one of Council’s Transfer Stations.

You will be asked to present a current rates notice to one of our transfer station team members to redeem.

*Non-eligible waste types include:

  • Asbestos
  • Refrigerators/freezers or refrigerant gas AC units
  • Mattresses and tyres
  • Gas cylinders

There is a limit of one load per rate notice.

Please note that no trailer cages are to be used, and non-eligible waste* will not be accepted as part of a free load
