E-Waste
E-waste can be taken to council's transfer stations for safe disposal; smaller E-waste items can be disposed of at Council's Micro-Stations.
For battery operated items, please remove batteries and place these in the battery recycling bins available.
For large E-waste items that use refrigerant gases, such as fridges and some air conditioning units, a separate charge is applicable.

Printer cartridges are not collected through this program.

- Parts for personal computers - including hard drives, motherboards, cards, internal power supplies, CPUs, DVD and CD drives.
- Computer accessories - for example a mouse, keyboard, joystick, game pad, scanners & web cameras.
- Printers - for example ink-jet, dot matrix, laser printers and multi-functionaI devices.
Printer cartridges are not collected through this service.

- Households appliances and microwaves, excluding some air conditioning units and fridges.
Disposing of Paint
Paintback Scheme
Solvent and water based paints can be disposed of at transfer stations.
