Horsham Rural City Council is partnering with residents in high-risk areas to enhance community readiness for emergencies through a series of targeted planning workshops.

Following a well-attended Disaster Information Session in Horsham on 6 August, the next phase will see dedicated workshops rolled out in Dadswells Bridge, Natimuk, Wartook, and Laharum.

The first of these will be held in Dadswells Bridge on Sunday, 5 October 2025, from 10am to 4pm at Old Dadswell Town.

A complimentary lunch will be provided. Sessions in Wartook/Laharum and Natimuk will be scheduled shortly after.

Facilitated by Six C’s Emergency Management Specialists, each session will guide local residents in developing practical, community-specific emergency plans.

Registrations are now open.
