Phones are ringing as the 2022 Community Satisfaction Survey finds out what residents think of Horsham Rural City Council.

An independent market research company started calling random residents this week as part of its regular survey.

“The survey has been designed to assess Council’s performance across a range of measures,” Mayor Robyn Gulline.

“Residents’ opinions about Council services will be gathered then compared against our performance in previous years.

“The responses will identify ways we can improve our services to residents.

“We appreciate participants taking the time to help us with your valuable feedback.

“This is a very important piece of work that is done every year and lets us know what we’re getting right and where we need to improve.

"Note that genuine Council surveyors will never ask for personal information such as people's names and all responses are confidential."

The survey will address 59 mandatory performance indicators under the Local Government Performance Reporting Framework.

Results from the latest completed survey will be available in the coming weeks.
