Supported Playgroup streams National Simultaneous Storytime live online

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and the Kalkee Road Supported Playgroup team are joining in the fun.

At 11am across Australia, children, families and educators will all simultaneously read the story of Whitney and Britney: Chicken Divas, written and illustrated by Lucinda Gifford.

At Kalkee Road Children’s and Community Hub the Supported Playgroup team will stream its reading live, with a start at 10.55am ready for the reading at 11am.

Families can watch the live feed via the Horsham Rural City Council Playgroups Facebook page.There might even be a special appearance by Kalkee Roads own Chicken Diva.

Now in its 20th year, NSS aims to promote the value of reading and literacy and brings together nearly one million Australians each year to share in the joy of reading.
