Horsham Rural City Council is seeking community input on a new engagement policy.
This policy reflects requirements outlined in the Local Government Act 2020, and will shape how Council undertakes future community engagement activities.
Submissions on the draft community engagement policy close 23 January 2021 at 5pm. After this time, the feedback received will be presented to Council who will then decide on which commitments and principles should be included in the policy.
The new community engagement policy will be followed up with extensive community consultation, in early 2021 around the vision for the future of Horsham.
