Notice Controlling Navigation In The Vicinity Of Works
Horsham Rural City Council, as the declared waterway manager for the waters of the Wimmera River within the boundaries of Horsham Rural City, makes the following notice under section 211(1)(b)(i) of the Marine Safety Act 2010 (Vic) (the Act).
For the purposes of the works activity proposed by Fleetwood Urban Pty Ltd for the construction of the Wimmera River pedestrian bridge, all vessels and persons are prohibited from entering or remaining in the waters detailed below, excluding emergency services vessels and vessels involved in the works.
Waters of the Wimmera River – at approximate coordinates 36°43'04.2"S 142°12'41.3"E, extending 75 metres upstream and 75 metres downstream from the proposed bridge location from the south of Menadue Street, Horsham, across to Waterlink Estate.
This notice has effect from 8:00am Monday 27 March 2023 to 5pm Friday 14 April 2023.
