Public health

The environmental and public health service of Council is overseen by the Coordinator of Environmental Health. The Environmental Health Officers conduct inspections and investigations into issues of public health risk to ensure that the spread of communicable diseases are minimised within the municipality

Fees apply to the registration of food, health and accommodation premises and Septic Tank permits. Council fees are updated every financial year, see here for the current 2022/2023 environmental health fees(PDF, 89KB).
