Lee Kernaghan Headlines RegFest Music Event Coming to Horsham

Horsham will take centre stage this October as some of Australia's biggest country music names roll into town for a festival expected to draw music fans from across the state and beyond.

Horsham Rural City Council, in partnership with promoter RegFest, has confirmed the event will take place on Saturday 24 October 2026 at the events stage at Horsham City Oval.

The event was originally scheduled for February this year, however organisers have worked together to secure the October date that will deliver an even bigger experience for festivalgoers and the community.

The festival will feature an impressive lineup of Australian country music talent, including Lee Kernaghan, Travis Collins, Max Jackson, Jayne Denham, Jake Whittaker, Michael Ward and Ally Row, with more artists still to be announced.

Organisers anticipate around 40 per cent of attendees will travel from outside the Wimmera, providing a welcome boost for local accommodation providers, hospitality venues and retailers.

Mayor Cr Brian Klowss said the festival represented a fantastic opportunity to showcase Horsham as a premier regional events destination.

"We're excited to confirm Horsham RegFest 2026 will be coming to Horsham this October, bringing some of Australia's most recognised country music artists to our region," said Cr Klowss.

Cr Klowss said the event would help cement Horsham's growing reputation as a destination capable of hosting major regional events.

"The new events stage at Horsham City Oval was developed to attract high-quality events, and RegFest is exactly the type of event that showcases the potential of this venue and our city."

"We're looking forward to welcoming country music fans from across Victoria and beyond, giving them the opportunity to experience not only a fantastic day of entertainment but also everything our region has to offer," said Cr Klowss.

Festivalgoers can expect a full day of live entertainment, gourmet food trucks, licensed bars and relaxed spaces to enjoy one of Victoria's newest country music experiences.
