Playgroups offer an opportunity for children aged 0-5 years to meet, play and learn with other children and a chance for parents and carers to mix with others. Playgroup gives children an opportunity to have fun, make new friends and develop new skills through informal play. All playgroups are different, but the emphasis is on fun and friendship.

What is Playgroup? A regular meeting time for parents and their child/ren 0-5yrs, to play and socialise in a supportive environment "Time out" just to play.
Who will be there? Other parents/carers/grandparents and their children, just like you!
Why go to Playgroup? It gives your child a better chance to socialise and enhance early learning skills eg: literacy, fine motor skills & coordination, speech, creativity and problem solving. These skills will help them to become well-adjusted older children and teenagers.
