Horsham Tidy Towns and Horsham Rural City Council have launched the ‘Over the Fence’ Front Yard Award

During the Coronavirus Pandemic, many people are finding extra time to maintain and improve their homes and gardens.

Horsham Tidy Towns and Horsham Rural City Council have come together to celebrate this work with the ‘Over the Fence’ Front Yard Award.

Neighbours are encouraged to identify friends in their street who have made improvements to their front yards, and with their neighbours’ permission, nominate them for the award.

The nominee must be able to supply a photograph to the neighbour that would like to nominate them. Nominations must also include a paragraph about why the person deserves to be acknowledged.

Mayor Mark Radford and representatives of the Tidy Towns Committee will select three front yards to be shortlisted, and will choose a winner. The winner will receive a plaque for their letterbox, certificate and local media acknowledgement.

Winners will be announced weekly during the month of May.

To make a nomination, please fill in the form below.
