The Voice - be ready to vote

On 14 October Australians will vote in a referendum about whether to change the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing a body called the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.

Council does not have a position on the Voice. But we encourage all community members to inform themselves of the Voice proposal and make their own decision.

There are multiple sources of information, and it can be challenging to know when information is factual or misleading.
