Join National Simultaneous Storytime Wednesday morning

Families are being encouraged to join an Australia-wide reading effort during the 2022 National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS).

HRCC Playgroups will be at the Horsham Library on Wednesday from 10.30am as thousands of children across the country read the picture book Family Tree, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator Josh Pyke.

There will be songs and dancing as well as games.

Now in its 22nd year, NSS aims to promote the value of reading and literacy and brings together nearly one million Australians each year to share in the joy of reading.

The event is free but people need to register their attendance here.
